Primary tabs

The Japan Resilience System focuses not only on current challenges to health and human security in Japan, but also focuses on Japan's long-term resilience and sustainability.  Current issues of response and relief to Japan's devastating 8.9 earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear emergency will require acute attention for the days and weeks ahead.  In addition, there are medium-term issues of relief for well over 1 million people directly affected.  There are also long-term issues of recovery that must be considered against the backdrop of the aging of Japanese people, the gap in work force, and ability to work within the carrying capacity of ecosystems in the islands of Japan.

Your contributions to Japan's health, human security, resilience, and sustainability are appreciated.  Thank you for engaging in the Japan Resilience System's forums, working group, blogs, task server, and other collaboratories in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead, as Japan defines its future, while recovering from the cascading effects from its 2011 earthquake, tsunami, and Fukushima nuclear power plant accident.
